A: Because we're building real community, not just collecting members. Community requires consistent, repeatable practice—showing up for each other month after month, learning names, building trust, creating inside jokes and shared history. When we're constantly onboarding new people, we can't create that depth. So we open enrollment when we're ready to welcome new members thoughtfully, then we close and focus entirely on showing up for the community we have. Quality over quantity, always.
